BJP-led NDA to win 233 seats, ABP-Nielsen Opinion Poll.

New Delhi: If Lok Sabha elections were to be held today, Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party will emerge as the front-runner, according to ABP News-Nielsen National Poll.
The latest pre-poll survey predicts a big surge for BJP from the last election, taking the seat count for the National Democratic Alliance that it leads to 233. That compares with 159 Lok Sabha seats for NDA in 2009.
The Opinion Poll has found that NDA is set to win 233 seats in the 543-seat parliament while the incumbent UPA-II government is projected to win mere 119 seats.
According to the projection, BJP alone will get 209 (won 116 seats in 2009) seats. The Congress is projected to get only 91 (won 206 seats in 2009) seats--115 less than 2009 seat position in the Lower House.

Ahmedabad receives Special Mention in Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize 2012.

AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) was felicitated by the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize during the World Cities Summit 2012 on 2nd July in Singapore for its early success in implementing a city development plan which aims to transform India's seventh largest city into a more liveable, equitable and sustainable metropolis with a dynamic multi-sector economy and an emerging auto-hub.

The award was given to Ahmedabad's Mayor Shri Hasit Vora and municipal commissioner Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra. It was awarded by Dr. Cheong Koon Hean, CEO, Housing & Development Board of Singapore and Lee Kuan Yew, a World City Prize nominating committee member.
The award recognizes cities and their key leaders and organisations for displaying good governance and innovation in bringing about social, economic and environmental benefits to the urban community.

Officials said that Ahmedabad was placed with cities like Vancouver, Copenhagen Malmo, Cape Town and Brisbane in the special mention awards category.
Ahmedabad's dramatic transformation serves as an inspiration to other cities seeking to rise above pollution problems, worsening traffic conditions and lack of affordable housing.

After public consultation, AMC had unveiled its city development plan in 2005, the Gujarat state urban development year. AMC's city plan includes four key ideas: Unlocking land potential through urban reform, investing in environment and infrastructure, ensuring inclusive development to address issues of the urban poor beyond basic needs and building and institutional strengthening.

An early success of the plan is the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS), which addresses the public transportation need of a burgeoning population. BRTS has seen public transport usage increase tremendously. In addition, all public transport now runs on CNG, reducing air pollution significantly.

Another example is the redevelopment of the Kankaria Lake in 2008. This former dilapidated and polluted royal bathing ground has been transformed into a vibrant cultural and recreational centre. The transformation was brought about by environmental improvements and the reorganisation of traffic movement. The former food vendors in the area were also rehabilitated.

The Sabarmati river front project, which is now in development, will have a great impact on the city as it addresses flood, sewage and water pollution issues. It also aims to relocate and rehabilitate slum dwellers and create more open public spaces.

AMC has distinguished itself as an inspirational model for sustainable development. Its early achievements reaffirm the importance of a clear vision combined with strong political will in tackling urban problems.

Want Narendra Modi as PM, says Pawan Kalyan

Hyderabad: While asking his fans to vote for any party of their choice, Jana Sena founder and actor Pawan Kalyan, expressed his desire to see Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi become the next Prime Minister.
Addressing his first public meeting in Visakhapatnam on Thursday after launching his outfit a few days ago, Pawan Kalyan also did justice to the lobby that worked to win his support for the BJP-TDP alliance.
He said that he had opted not to contest the polls as he did not want to split votes. Though not directly naming the Telugu Desam, he said that the people were free to elect a party which they think would develop the new state and new capital.
Without naming YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said, “The Congress allowed people here to loot thousands of crores of public money but later used the CBI against them and even got them arrested,” adding that the Congress facilitated bail once an understanding was reached.”
The Jana Sena chief added that honest officers who pursued the corruption case with vigour were let down by the Centre, and had to wait nine months for a posting. The reference was to former CBI director V. Lakshminarayana, who investigated the case.In an attempt to appease his brother and Union minister K. Chiranjeevi and his fan base, Pawan Kalyan sought to defend Praja Rajyam’s merger with the Congress.
“Some MLAs might have forced him to merge the party. It is not his fault,” he said, adding that he thought that the merger would benefit the state which was in turmoil.
He praised the BJP for making its stand on the division of the state clear through the Kakinada resolution of one vote and two states. However, he conveniently ignored the fact that the BJP kept its resolution under wraps because of political compulsions with its NDA partner, the Telugu Desam.
Apparently to keep the Majlis, which did not even spare Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy for offering post-poll support to Mr Modi, in good humour, Pawan Kalyan said that the migrants in Telangana, especially those in Hyderabad, must support the Majlis.
He said that the Owaisi brothers provided a sense of security to the Seemandhra people. In reality, the Majlis opposed joint capital and special powers to the Governor which many other organisations from Seemandhra wished for.

BJP’s Vision Document

The BJP Vision document that targets 12 per cent growth in GDP per annum based on an ‘aggressive market economy’ emphasis, particularly at the State level, is downright thrilling as a blueprint. Its federal tilt towards the States is noticeable. It reflects the shift towards greater decentralisation that is the current reality and the best way forward.
Inspired by the efforts of former Commerce Minister and Harvard Professor of Economics Subramanian Swamy, Vision 2020 Head and former BJP president Nitin Gadkari, the dynamic ideas of Narendra Modi and RSS inspired think-tank Aarth Kranti; the document seeks to bring in ‘second-generation reforms’ alongside massive improvements in the ‘quality of governance and accountability’.
Both these objectives have effectively eluded the failed socialist UPA Government in its nearly 10 years in power, much to the disappointment of all stakeholders. But, with ideas such as these, it is no wonder that NaMo asks for 60 months to unleash India onto a path to prosperity not seen in the 60 years given to Congress rule! And, it will no doubt be music to the ears of a young and aspirational India, fed up to the back teeth with vote-bank politics and fraudulent socialist mantras that have only served to create mirages of progress in place of a grim reality of grinding and never-ending poverty.
This 12 per cent level of growth, if achieved, will not only raise millions of people out of penury, but help us catch up with Chinese levels of growth by 2020. If produced year on year, it will even enable us to overtake it after 20 years, and build India into one of the top three economies of the world. Such growth will effectively lead to a doubling of GDP every six years with per capita income doubling every seven years per the Vision document. But since each doubling is achieved on a higher base line, the total impact year on year will be excitingly palpable. India will truly be on its real tryst with destiny that was betrayed by the Congress maladministration for these many decades.
The BJP Vision 2020 document preview promises to exempt income up to Rs 12 lakhs per annum from income tax and this too will bring relief and cheer to millions of the under-privileged and those in the middleclasses. While the programme seems to have moderated from an earlier stance of doing away with most taxes altogether in favour of a nominal universal expenditure tax, this proposal too will be hugely beneficial. The Vision document also plans to scrap inter-State sales tax in another brilliant and progressive step that will cut red-tape and help bring down prices.
Meanwhile, the Congress facing a wall of unpopularity, is continuing on its old fashioned plank of divisive politics, busy accusing the Opposition and others, some of whom are in the UPA, of all kind of negatives in its propagandist and empty manner. But the facts on its major thrust on Welfarism put out recently, seem to suggest, that it has come at the expense of spending on education and health for the masses.
The variegated and possible members of the proposed Third or Federal Front all have Prime Ministerial ambitions as their main motive. This is naturally an impossible basis for any kind of cohesiveness. In the face of Opinion Polls that predict a tally of 226 for the NDA as it stands, the more sensible thing for those who have worked with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government in the past is to join up again in a post-poll alliance. Others, who may wish to strengthen the stability of the Government and also share in its power, could help to take the tally near or above 300 in the forthcoming Lok Sabha; thereby making bold legislation and effective governance for the Centre very much easier.
The newbie AAP, self-destructing in front of our eyes is suffering from delusions of both paranoia and grandeur. A new broom it might have been, but it has failed miserably to sweep clean. Not only that, it makes a habit of contradicting itself on camera where the complete charade is on audio/video record. Its lies and about-turns are teaching the rest of the Indian polity new heights of just how craven it is possible to be.
But the AAP allure is not only fading, but disturbing questions are surfacing about its lack of  consistency and thought-through method. The NRI contingent has stopped lavishing money on it already, and the middle class support it once enjoyed, is also retreating in embarrassment. It is reduced to a shadow of its boastful self after just 49 grinding in office, during which it discovered that translating its grand promises into any kind of action was easier said than done. But, much as it hopes to find resonance with the public still, it is NaMo and the BJP/NDA that has the pulse of the Indian people today.

Facts & Figures of Namo Gujarat Under Modi Leadership

Here are some facts about development of Gujarat under Mr Narendra Modi. The important fact is that Gujarat has achieved all this growth despite the state being the ONLY major state that has a prohibition on manufacture and sale of liquor, which is the largest source of revenue for all major states.
» Agricultural Growth: In last 10 years, the agriculture growth rate of Gujarat is higher than every other state in the country.» Rural Poverty Line: The drop in share of population below poverty line in rural areas between 2004-05 and 2009-10 has been remarkable in Gujarat at 13% reduction (from 39% to 26%), which puts Gujarat among the top few states in this parameter. (Tendulkar methodology, compared between 2004-05 and 2009-10, Page 45 of 232, Planning Commission Report). This is a natural corollary of the earlier point about the quality of GDP growth, but remains largely an untold story so far.» Good Governance: The Gujarat growth story is more about providing effective governance, At a time when corruption scandals like Adarsh in Maharashtra, or Jagan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh or CWG in Delhi, Gujarat has remained largely unscathed with no major corruption scandal emerging,» Basic infrastructure: Gujarat is among the very few Power surplus states in the country today, despite having such high levels of industrialization. The water infrastructure in Gujarat has improved significantly in the last decade because of the number of initiatives taken by the government, with the involvement of local panchayats (Data reference not readily available, but anecdotal evidence confirms this. Read Ms. Meera Sanyal’s blog on this after on-ground visits to Mehsana and Sabarkantha districts). Ahmedabad BRTS is a good public transport success story comparable to international standards, which finds no mention in the author’s column.» Gujarat is one of the most prosperous states of the country, having a per-capita GDP 3.2 times India's average.» If it was a nation it would have been 67th richest nation in the world above many European and Asian economies like China and Ukraine .» Gujarat holds many records in India for economic development:

                     9% of India's Mineral Production.
                     20% of India's Industrial Output.
                     22% of India's exports.
24% of India's textile production.35% of India's pharmaceutical products.51% of India's petrochemical production.» Gujarat ranks first nationwide in gas-based thermal electricity generation with national market share of over 8% and second nationwide in nuclear electricity generation with national market share of over 1%.» Over 20% of the S&P CNX 500 conglomerates have corporate offices in Gujarat.» India's 16% of Investment are from Gujarat.» Gandhinagar is the Greenest Capital City in whole Asia.» Gujarat is the safest state as the Crime rate of it is 8.2 which is the least in India even after considering 2002 communal riots, stated by India Today 2005 report.» Gujarat is having least crime against women among all Indian states (excluding Goa) where AP is 1st, Delhi is 2nd , Bihar is 3rd ,Zarakhand is 4th and UP is 5th.» Ahmedabad which is the seventh largest city in India is the lowest in crime rate among all Tier-I and Tier-II cities of India as per National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report.» Ahmedabad is ranked 2nd in Real Estate - Ahead of Bangalore,Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai & Delhi. 3rd in Policy Initiatives - Ahead of Bangalore, Chennai, Calcutta, Mumbai & Delhi. 4th in Manpower - Ahead of Bangalore,Chennai, Mumbai & Delhi.

A Better Adique for a Better Prespective – Modi For PM

What do a young human of india needs the most today?what thrives his intelluct to excel?
It is employment and a better standard of persective together with it.
Having witness the scenario and being born in Jharkhand(which was formerly Bihar) i can speak about the employment and its adique.
People from all over bihar and jharkhand used to first wander towards Kolkata,as it was near to our state.
But within one or two years things changed there due to the communal issues and lingustic problems
Then the next trend was to wander towards Delhi. Most of our people would navigate towards it and work there. But the condition worsened when they were striving for money as there was lack of employment, and hence they were forced to live in slums and work as mere labours.
Then the next move was towards Mumbai. But unfortunately all of the people from our state were disintended due to communial issue which arouse there due to people of Bihar and jharkhand.
But a thing which around 90% of people of our state would agree, and that is finding better employment prospective and ascertaining a well standard of living in Gujrat.
While my visit to neighbourhood i found out that around 40% of them are engaged in business held in Gujrat.
70% of people of villages have migrated for employment in Gujrat.
They are working there and here they are making there family survive as some of there families did not want to leave there native land.
So the thing behind this,is that why cant we create gujrat in India.why have to people leave away their old parents and work there in Gujrat.
So the only solution to this major issue is,
“MODI LAO DESH BACHAO”
When modiji can transform gujrat into a place with wide job prespective and employment, then sure whole India will be transformed into Gujrat.
Which signies that now young people will not have to migrate away from their native place in search of a quantaum of living.
So for this CHANGE,we have to bring a CHANGE.
Lets now work in our own place friends, with our own culture and heritage.
Lets bring Modiji,so that he can bring GUJRAT into INDIA.
Lets stand united to take this pledge to VOTE FOR INDIA,FOR BRINGING A CHANGE IN INDIA.

Gujarat ranks No 1 in 'economic freedom':

New Delhi: In a boost to BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Gujarat has been ranked number one in a list of India's 20 largest states in terms of “economic freedom”.

The index on “economic freedom” takes into account governance, growth, citizens’ rights, and labour and business regulations.

As per the 2013 'Economic Freedom of the States of India' report, “Gujarat has widened its lead at the top of the economic freedom table, with an index score of 0.65 (on a scale from 0 to 1.0). Tamil Nadu remains in second position, but some distance behind, with a score of 0.54.”

It is noteworthy that the three states, which have seen fastest improvement in economic freedom, have also recorded a significant jump in economic growth. The growth rate in Gujarat has been an average 12 percent between 2005 and 2011, while in Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh it has been 10.6 percent and 10.4 percent respectively.

“Gujarat is not only the freest state, but it has also registered the fastest rate of improvement in the
index (from 0.46 in 2005 to 0.65 in 2013),” the report said.

Enhancing the growth & accolades: A robust vision, a determined mission
From USA Congressional Think TanksBrookings InstitutionsFinancial TimesWall Street Journal, policy organization Legatum Institute  to TIME Magazine and India’s ASSOCHAM and India Today, among several other organizations and groups, Gujarat’s development has been hailed universally.
Giving a strong impetus to these dazzling heights of progress is a solid vision, a mission to ensure that each and every citizen of Gujarat is integrated in the develop journey of the state. It is the farsightedness of Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi that has made the state a strong engine of growth over the last 13 years.
As far as economic freedom is concerned, Shri Narendra Modi has a very clear vision that has been appreciated far and wide. Speaking to the Economic Times in a past interview, Shri Modi had said that the government has no business to be in business. He envisions the role of the Government as that of a facilitator, helping stimulate growth in every way possible. Shri Modi went on to share how in Gujarat things such as greasing the palms of bureaucrats and politicians simply do not exist – there is coherence in polices which is more than enough.
He encapsulated his stand as – “No Red Tape, only Red Carpet is my policy towards investors.”
Today, in a time when crony capitalism and policy paralysis is plaguing the nation, Gujarat comes across as a breath of fresh air. Shri Modi himself says on many occasions that he has no son or son-in-law so who will he accumulate money for? Under his watchful eyes, the money that was earlier used up in enriching the pockets of a handful of middlemen, is now being utilized for the development of the state. Thus, on one hand there is freedom to grow and innovate, while on the other, the fruits of development are reaching the common people of Gujarat!

The force behind Gujarat’s development – 6 crore people of Gujarat!

On many occasions Shri Modi has been asked to whom can the development in Gujarat be attributed? And each time he is asked this question, quickly comes his reply – the 6 crore people of Gujarat! The development that the state has seen in the past 13 years has the scent of hardwork and sweat of 6 crore Gujaratis. The people of the state have shown amazing determination, zeal and commitment to take the state to newer heights of progress every single moment.
Recently, Asia’s leading brokerage house CLSA called Gujarat among the fastest growing states in India and called its development model most unique. It lauded Gujarat’s success in industry, agriculture and particularly praised the Government policies that have drawn investment in the state.
One of the key points CLSA noted is that Gujarat’s growth is characterized by low reliance on central funds. This yet again vindicated what Shri Modi says – that the growth of Gujarat is due to the people of Gujarat, no Hand can take imaginary credit for the growth of the state!
It is great to see Gujarat’s growth receive such encouraging words very often. It surely will inspire the people to further work hard and touch heights of progress never-seen-before, by following the Mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Collective efforts, inclusive growth).

Why Narendra Modi as PM

We need somebody like Swami Vivekananda who can awake India once again, who can tell the people of India about their forgotten powers, who can tell the entire world  that India has immense potential to lead the world. We need a person who has a strong nationalist character, who thinks of India only, who live for India only and the person who is ready to die for India only.
As we all know that for the last 60 years one party led by one family has eaten the very roots of our nation and still they want to loot more. Day by day poverty, unemployment, terrorism, loss of national character, corruption, internal & external issues, imbalaced climate issues are on rise.
Nation is looking upon one person who can deliver the results, whose integrity, commitment are beyond any kind of doubt and the only person which comes in minds of people is Narendra Modi. He has already proved himself in Gujrat which is doing very well. On the same lines if he is elected as the Prime Minister of India in 2014, he will definitely transform the present politics and present India.
A person who has raised himself from a tea vendor to the Chief Minister, and from a Chief Minister to a Prime Minister candidate  has some great qualities in himself. The person who lives like a saint, who has not married himself for the sake of his nation should certainly be elected as our next Prime Minister. Somebody asked him about his religion and he answered that India is my religion.
Today a poor mother who is unable to feed her child says that son don’t worry now after 2014 you will never have to sleep without food as Shri Narender Modi is coming. We repeat its not about Narendra Modi it about us, its about our nation, its about hopes of millions of people .

Narendra Modi most popular for PM's post: Zee-Taleem Poll Survey

Who is best suited PM of India for the 2014 : Election survey

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has emerged as the favourite choice for the post of country's next PM in a pre-poll survey conducted by Zee Media Corp commissioned through Taleem Research Foundation. Congress party scion Rahul Gandhi emerged as the second most-preferred candidate for the PM's post.

When asked “In your opinion who would be best Prime Minister..?”, as many as 46.1 percent respondents voted for Narendra Modi while 21.2 percent voted for Rahul Gandhi
In case of Jammu & Kashmir there very few voters (6.7 percent) who indicated their preference for Narendra Modi as prime minister. Similar was the case for Kerala (12.8 percent).

In case of Rahul Gandhi, in Gujarat (home state of Narendra Modi), highest percentage (40.8 percent) of voters thought Rahul Gandhi was the best prime ministerial candidate.
Other names mentioned by small number were Arvind Kejriwal (4.2 percent), Mayawati (2.9 percent), Mulayam Singh Yadav (2.2 percent) and Mamta Banerjee (2.0 percent). All other names mentioned garnered below 2.0 percent votes. The important point to be noted is that as much as 17.1 percent voters voted for the “Can’t say” option for this question.

Muslim Votes and Narendra Modi

The voters were asked “BJP would get more votes if Narendra Modi was not declared as a Prime Ministerial candidate”. Surprisingly, only about one-fourth or 25.8 percent voters thought so, whereas 34.6 percent voters did not think so. Four out of ten or 39.6 percent responded “Can’t say” thereby indicating that Narendra Modi’s candidature for the prime minister's post would not affect the voting pattern of Muslim voters.

Modi ka Parakram Song

Narendra Modi at Lucknow rally :Will not let my country bow down

Will not let my country bow down: Narendra Modi at Lucknow rally
BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi addressed a rally at Lucknow's Ramabai Ambedkar ground today. Since his anointment as the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, this is Mr Modi's 8th rally in Uttar Pradesh.

Here are the Bullet points by Modi at Lucknow rally
Yesterday there was a hail storm  in many places...many farmers here have suffered heavy losses.
  •  In these difficult times, I stand by my farmer friends.
  • In Uttar Pradesh, we have had eight rallies, each bigger than the last one...and today in Lucknow, I see a 'sea of saffron'.
  • 'Aaj yeh aandhi hain, kal yeh Tsunami ban jayega...'
  • 'SABKA vinash tai hain - S for Samajwadi Party, B for BSP and KA for Congress'
  • You can't hear the strains of qawwali in Lucknow any more,  there is just the hustle-bustle of politics...
  • What has happened to Uttar Pradesh?
  • I appeal to the people of Lucknow, don't let anyone destroy your culture.
  • If you have to change the fortunes of India, it must begin in Lucknow.
  • Today Netaji has accepted defeat...he accepted that he can't compete with the numbers that gather for our rallies.
  • Today I'm happy that Netaji was forced to talk about development in his speech - this is his second defeat.
  • 150 riots in Uttar Pradesh in the past one year and none in Gujarat in the past ten years...how dare you compare yourself to us.
  • There have been more than 20,000 cases of atrocities against women in one year in Uttar Pradesh. And Netaji  is asking us to explain our actions?
  • Netaji, your 'song-dance' politics may work but stop using the name of Ram Manohar Lohia.
  • There are two factions of the Samajwadi Party - Samajwadi and Sukhwadi (Socialist  and those who believe in their own comfort).
  • Netaji, you aren't bothered about development, only interested in votebank politics.
  • Uttar Pradesh is 10 times bigger than Gujarat.
  • But only 10% villages get electricity.
  • Neta ji you asked for 'sher' from Gujarat. You also wanted Amul.
  • We have provided more returns to milk producers here.
  • You are all talk but are unable to move forward on the development front.
  • Look at the ministers from Uttar Pradesh sitting in Delhi. 'Ek mantri koyla kha gaye, dusre mantri aise hain jinhone kaha 70 lakh ka brashtachar nahin hos sakta'.
  • Ministers in Delhi are involved in the Coal scam.
  • In the name of NGOs, they are still involved in corruption.
  • Aandhion ki zid hain jahan bijlee girane ki, meri bhi zid hain wahan ashian banane ki...(I'm determined to set up my house at the place which is most likely to be struck by lightning)
  • Please go to the streets of Uttar Pradesh, look at the unemployment.
  • But the ministers are busy talking about secularism.
  • Poverty, education, agricultural development take a back seat.
  • They are deviating from the main issues in the name of secularism.
  • Samajwadi Party only looks at you all as voters not as humans.
  • Our secularism is 'jodo and vikaas' pathway.
  • Our's is an article of faith.
  • For Samajwadi Party it is merely a vote bank tactic.
  • BJP's power shows that they have made me a PM candidate.
  • I come from a poor background, a tea seller and the BJP has made me a PM candidate.
  • The next decade is for the poor, it is a decade to bring about change in the conditions of the poor.
  • I will be a gatekeeper.
  • It isn't the Prime Minister's seat that I seek, I seek to serve as a gatekeeper.
  • I will not let anyone loot the exchequer. I don't care if they come in riding an elephant or a cycle.
  • Will not let my country to bow down 'desh nahi jukne dunga'

s
