AAP’s national executive member reveals party’s secret deal with Congress

Aam Aadmi Party’s national executive member Ashwini Upadhyay has revealed that his party has struck a secret deal with Congress to stop BJP’s victory.

According to Upadhyay, it has been agreed between the two parties that Congress would support AAP to make Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister of Delhi and Yogendra Yadav as the CM of Haryana if they, in lieu of support to Rahul Gandhi’s name for Prime Ministership in case of a hung Lok Sabha.
Updhaya has added that a meeting of the senior members of the two parties tookplace at Aman Hotel in 2013 where the deal was struck.
It is significant to note in the light of Upadhyay’s allegations that earlier former BJP president Nitin Gadkari had made similar claims against AAP and Congress when Kejriwal had formed Government in Delhi with outside support of Congress.

Six million voters names deleted in Maharashtra : voter scam by whoom????????????????

Mumbai: In a shocking revelation that could impact election results, the names of nearly six million voters have been deleted or diverted across Maharashtra.

The deletion was done mainly because the voters were currently not residing in the area in which they were originally registered, a state election commission official said in Mumbai on Saturday on condition of anonymity.

Meanwhile, state chief electoral officer Nitin Gadre told IANS: "These are not missing names. The deletions were done six months ago as per the legal process."

Gadre said the revised lists were given to all political parties with suitable publicity at local levels by district collectors and the new lists have been available on the state election commission website for the past six months.

Among the names deleted are those of new and potential first-time voters in the state's 48 constituencies as they are presently not residents in their respective areas of voting.

The issue came to the fore after there were a large number of complaints of names 'missing' from voters lists in places like Nagpur, Amravati and recently Pune, irking candidates of all major political parties who also protested or complained about it.

The state Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that around 100,000 voters' names have been deleted from Pune and as many new voters from other areas have been added to that constituency.

A BJP delegation called on the election authorities on Saturday and demanded fresh elections in Pune.

Among those whose names are missing is Bollywood actor-producer-director Amol Palekar, who lodged a 'missing name' complaint with Pune police on Saturday.

His complaint has been forwarded to the state poll panel for further action, an official said.

There were also reports of voters' names missing from Aurangabad, Ratnagiri and Thane, but poll panel officials denied it.

Of the state's 11.76 crore population, the total current voter strength is around 8.06 crore, the rest being minors.

In the final phase of polling for 19 Lok Sabha seats scheduled for April 24, around 3.17 crore voters are eligible to cast their vote.

However, it was not known how many names from these may have been deleted or diverted from their respective constituencies.

Official sources claimed the work of preparing electoral rolls was reportedly entrusted to a private company but state poll panel officials declined to name or blame the company for the alleged goof up.

Narendra Modi urges voters to elect Advani with a huge margin

Terming veteran BJP leader L K Advani as a father figure, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi urged voters at a rally in Kalol here on Wednesday, to elect him from North Gujarat’s Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency with a huge margin.
Praising the veteran party leader, BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi termed Advani as his political guru at a public rally in Kalol town of North Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district on Wednesday.
“I will always remain indebted for what Advani did for me. Even in difficult times, Advani showed me way by holding my hand. Just like a father, he also gave suggestions to me. Just like North Gujarat, Advani has a right over me,” Modi, who was born in Vadnagar town of North Gujarat’s Mehsana district said, during the rally.
Since Advani was not present at the rally, his son Jayant Advani shared the dais with Modi.
“I am the son of this soil and you people raised me. I have come here today to seek your help. Advani’s long public life is spotless and he remains dedicated to the nation. I want you to elect him with a huge margin,” Modi said.

AAP’s national council member Ashwini Upadhyaya quits with 2400 others

n a severe jolt to the Aam Aadmi Party, expelled AAP national council member Ashwini Upadhyay on Monday left the party with 2,400 other workers.
Talking to reporters in Lucknow, Upadhyay alleged that the ideology, with which AAP was formed, has lost somewhere and the common man was feeling cheated.
He said due to this 2,400 workers, including convenors of eight wards and 40 local incharges, have resigned from the party.
Upadhyay questioned AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal “why he elected unconstitutional way for Jan Lokpal Bill and why Delhi Lokayukta was not made stronger?”
He said, “Kejriwal resigned from the post of Delhi Chief Minister without referendum.”
“AAP fielded 455 candidates in tacit understanding with Congress to divide votes,” he said.
He alleged that “Sisodia’s Kabir Foundation was registered in 2007, then how he managed to get Rs 44 lakh in 2005 and 32 lakh in 2006 from Ford Foundation.”
Upadhyay also asked why AAP made Yudhveer Singh, who gave clean chit to Robert Vadra in land deal, its candidate from Hisar Lok Sabha seat.

ElectionsUttar Pradesh Modi says Rahul Gandhi's gaffes funnier than Kapil Sharma show

Rahul Gandhi's gaffes should be telecast on TV instead of comedian Kapil Sharma's show, Narendra Modi, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, said on Sunday, mocking the Congress vice-president's elections speeches, which, he said, were full of gaffes.

"I feel the TV serial of Kapil Sharma [Comedy Nights With Kapil] will shut down in a few days. TV people should gather these Rahul Gandhi [YouTube] videos and show them and the entire tiredness of the elections will go away. You won't have to do anything [else] for entertainment," Modi said at a rally in support of party candidate Uma Bharti in Jhansi in UP.

Modi, the Gujarat Chief Minister, recalled Rahul Gandhi's three speeches, saying they had glaring gaffes.

"This morning I saw my friend, Rahul Gandhi's statement, and I laughed so much that my stomach hurt. What are they saying? Will such people run the Congress, leave the nation aside?" Modi said.

"He [Rahul Gandhi] was in Gujarat yesterday and these days, mother-son have developed a lot of love for Gujarat. They praise Gujarat day and night. Mother speaks somewhere, son speaks somewhere else. Mother speaks one lie and son speaks two lies," he said.

"He [Rahul Gandhi] said: 'Tell me Modi-ji, there is no lokayukta in Gujarat and the day lokayukta comes, this chowkidar [security guard] will go to jail'," Modi said, referring to the Congress vice-president's speech in Bhavnagar on Saturday.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi

Rahul bhaiya, slow down. Why are you spreading such lies? I will tell you. Rahul bhaiya, those who are writing your speeches, they are bent on destroying you, it seems. And your mother's adviser, with whom you do not get along, may be he is providing you with such false speeches," Modi said, amid cheering from the crowd.

"You should know. There is a lokayukta is Gujarat. Not only this, the same lokayukta has given a probe report which was tabled in the last Assembly session. In that report, a minister at the Centre, whose father was once the chief minister of Gujarat and who stole from the forests, ate up forest wood, the current lokayukta has held that Mr Amarsinh Chaudhary guilty. Amarsinh-ji has passed away and that is why we did not want to do politics and that is why we were silent. We never mentioned it. We respect departed souls. And you lie like this?" he said.

Referring to another Rahul Gandhi speech, Modi said: "Gujarat's population is six crore, but Rahul baba said there are 27,000 crore jobs lying vacant in Gujarat! ... You have exceeded world's population!"

"The other thing he said, I can't repeat. Okay, I will tell half of it. It's on YouTube. I have said that there has been a White Revolution in Gujarat and the state now provides milk to other states. On this, he [Rahul Gandhi] said something on which I laughed as well as felt ashamed. Can there be leaders like this?" Modi said.

"He said a third thing. This is also on YouTube. He is the Congress' PM candidate and look at his intelligence: He said in Gujarat, two in one children are malnourished. Did you understand?" Modi said.

"I don't know what kind of fate I have that I have to face such people. If there was someone wise, we could have had a conversation," he said.

When a Gujarati replied to the 16 Questions asked by Arvind Kejriwal to Narendra Modi

While it is praiseworthy to ask questions in a democray, and make the politicians in power accountable for the work they have done, the nature and intent of such political discourse should be clear and related to pertinent issues. Sadly, this is not the case with the 16 questions raised by Arvind Kejriwal on the performance of Narendra Modi led state government in Gujarat. Being witness to the antics and anarchy propagated by Kejriwal, I take the liberty of answering the 16 questions that have been posed by him to Narendra Modi. However, it would be better if Arvind Kejriwal could do some constructive service to the nation by focusing on the real issues of development and nation building instead of resorting to gain cheap publicity at the cost of sidelining the real issues that people should be focusing on. I also humbly expect Arvind Kejriwal to answer the questions that have been posed for him at the end of this write-up. Here are the answers to the questions posed by Arvind Kejriwal.

If you become the PM, will you raise price of the KG Basin gas, which has already been doubled by the UPA government to $8 per unit? This is a highly speculative question, however, to answer your question, please consider these figures. PSU enterprises, led by ONGC produce two thirds of all gas production in India. Reliance produces barely 10%. Hence any rise in the price of gas will benefit ONGC the most, directly contributing in filling up the coffers of the state exchequer. Hence, your allegation that price of gas is being raised to benefit Reliance doesn’t hold ground. The price change in gas has been recommendation by an eminent six member panel headed by C Rangrajan. While you allege that all these experts are on the payroll of Reliance, which is really condemnable, you conveniently hide the fact that this panel was appointed by Shri Jaypal Reddy, the then petroleum minister, who is a known Reliance oppose.

Why does your government buy solar power at Rs 13 per unit? Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka are buying it at Rs 7.50 and Rs 5 per unit, respectively.

Mr Kejriwal, as per the information of the mango man, solar power generation is a highly technological driven sector, and Gujarat is a leader in generating solar power. While rapid advances may have reduced the price of solar power generation, Gujarat- a pioneer in this field started quite early in generating solar power when such new technologies were not in the market. These agreements may have been made with solar power generation companies before the advent of cost reducing technologies. Please get some lessons in governance and particularly in economics, which states the law of demand and supply. Prices will naturally reduce when the supply outpaces demand. Hence, as more capacity keeps getting added, the price of solar power will reduce as per the same logic.

You claim 11% agriculture growth in state while your government’s data says production has shrunk at 1.18% annually and revenue declined from Rs 27,815 crore in 2006-07 to Rs 25,908 crore in 2012-13. Why?

I am not sure what you want to convey here. Gujarat is the state that has given India a successful model of the cooperative sector and is the home of ‘Amul’. Holy Cow! Have you conveniently ignored the fact that a White Revolution has already being witnessed in Gujarat and milk production has boosted up by 75% in Gujarat since the last decade? If you research your facts properly, you will be delighted to know that farmers of Gujarat are 7 times richer and agricultural incomes have risen from Rs.14,000 crore in 2001 to Rs.96,000 crore, and this is the figure till 2011. Farmers have been the main beneficiaries of the development in Gujarat.

In the past 10 years, two-thirds of all SMEs have shut down in Gujarat, especially in your home town Mehsana where 140 units out of 187 died away. Do you want to concentrate all power in the hands of a few big industrial houses?

First of all get your facts clear Mr. Kejriwal. Home town of Narendra Modi is Vadnagar, not Mehsana. However, without diverting from your question, please note that India’s 5 per cent population lives in Gujarat which has 6%of the country’s land mass and its GDP share is 10%. Most of this has been contributed by the small and medium industry sector. India’s 70% salt production is in Gujarat and the state also leads in caustic soda production (90%); chemicals (60%); petrochemicals (50%); pharma (40%); and polished diamonds (80%). Salt, pharma and chemicals is largely run by small scale entrepreneurs and is a large contributor to national growth. Also, for your kind information, SME’s have attracted an investment of 17880 Crores in 2012-13 while it was only 3181 in 2006-07, a growth of more than 500%.The employment generated by SMEs in Gujarat has gone up from 76196 in 06-07 to 381083 in 2012-13.

You claim to have eradicated corruption in Gujarat. People here claim that up to Rs 10 lakh bribe is demanded for appointment of a ‘talati’ (revenue official)

This question is again highly speculative without any solid ground. Even then, let me tell you that Gujarat is a state that has won several national awards in the sector of E-governance, and this includes recruitment in the state government as well. Please note that the entire process of recruitment is highly transparent and is done largely online, and everything is documented and available in the public domain. I would urge you to do some homework on the e governance measures taken by Gujarat government before making baseless allegations. And I didn’t know that poor satyagrah that was founded by the father of our nation, who attained martyrdom at Birla House in your own city, in the house of an industrialist? Does the word industrialist represent such a negative meaning for you Mr Kejriwal? Do the industrialists have a monopoly on practicing corruption? Don’t you travel by a same Wagon R car produced by Suzuki- a Japanese automobile industry giant? Does that mean I can accuse you of being hand in glove with Suzuki just because you drive a Wagon R? Even if you rode all the way from Delhi to Ahmedabad on a Hero Cycle, with your own twisted logic, am I not entitled to accuse you of being in collusion with the cycle manufacturing industry? Give me a break Kejriwal uncle; you need to find something solid against a man who has transformed a state for the better by working continuously since last 12 years. If not, please have the dignity not to raise question just for the sake of asking them and instead focus on doing something constructive.

About 13 lakh people applied for 1,500 posts of ‘talati’ recently. How can you claim to have solved the problem of unemployment?

Please note that people have the liberty of applying for any post and you cannot stop them from this. How can you relate this number with the unemployment figures? You yourself have been a top class revenue official. Don’t you know that Gujarat is one of the top contributors in the tax revenues and other sources of income for the central government? Where does all this money come from if there is no employment, no industry or no development in Gujarat?

Why is your government exploiting young graduates by paying them only Rs 5,300 per month for five years on contract basis?

Kejriwal babu, do you know the salary of a police constable whom you would have never even noticed, but may be entrusted with a job of following you like a shadow just to protect you? I bet it is less than even the Rs 5300 that you have cited. This is a state where entrepreneurship runs in the blood of people. People here are industrious and innovative that they don’t need the crèches of a government job but instead create enterprises that not only sustain them, but also provide jobs to scores of other people. As mentioned in your previous question, there was a moratorium on recruitment in the state government. In Gujarat, we don’t believe in creating a bloated and inefficient bureaucracy whose specimen you yourself were in the beginning of your illustrious career, but instead believe minimum government and maximum governance.

There are only three teachers to teach 600 students at some schools. What is your comment?

This may be the case in some handful villages, but if you could have specified the schools and their respective areas where this is the case, then it would have been much better. Still, even if your accusation is taken on its merit, isn’t this situation better than hiring teachers indiscriminately without the considerations of quality and knowledge? In other parts of India, this is a huge problem, where teachers are hired, but who don’t even show up in schools. In a state as large as Gujarat, with nearly 18,500 villages, this may be the case. However, don’t compare this with your city state of Delhi, predominantly with urban population, which you couldn’t even govern for two months? Nobody holds a magic wand Mr Kejriwal, by the merits of which one can make all the ills and poverty disappear. But you should at least try to give due credit to the administration in Gujarat that has made positive difference in the lives of rural populace.

Medical and health services are in a shambles.

Oh yes Kejri babu, the emergence of Ahmedabad as a medical tourist hub is not the truth, but must be the construction of the same paid media who is busy in glorifying you and your antics. I myself have seen foreign tourists arrive in the hospitals of Ahmedabad in droves, as it provides top class treatment at affordable prices. But no, for you, this to you seems just a conspiracy hatched by the foreign powers who purposely send medical tourists to Ahmedabad for fulfilling their own agenda. Needless to say, majority of them are from African countries, so one of your ministers, known to be xenophobic, may have objections to this. But this is not the point, Kejri babu. The point is Gujarat is the state where Jyotigram Yojana of Gujarat and accepted its role of positive transformation in the lives of rural population of Gujarat? Ah, even the Stockholm guys must have been paid up, isn’t it Mr Kejriwal? Only the Ford Foundation folks are honest, isn’t it?

Sardar Sarovar dam’s height was raised in 2005 but people of Kutch have not got water. Industries have been given water. Why?

I think Medha Patkar, the illustrious party member of AAP can provide you with a detailed insight on this. Isn’t Medha Patkar the same person who is opposing tooth and nail the creation of Sardar Sarovar dam in the very first place? If Medha had her way, forget about raising the height, the dam would not have even been constructed in the first place. And I am not even raising the point of the innumerable benefits that this project has given to the nation, starting from the production of clean and green hydro electricity to the boost in agricultural production. Perhaps, the way you have been treating the discoms in Delhi, I think you prefer having a ‘candlelight dinner’ every night instead of bearing the bright and intrusive electricity being produced by the corrupt industrial houses.

Despite assurances, the Gujarat government has not withdrawn court cases against Sikh farmers of Kutch who have lost their land. Why?

I take the liberty of quoting Narendra Modi’ words in his Punjab rally on 23delhi janta darbar before quitting in just less than two months to ask the permission of the very same people who elected you in hopes of getting good and corruption free governance in the very same way you held a SMS poll for asking their opinion on forming the AAP government in Delhi?

Why don’t you drive a Tata Nano instead of a Wagon R? Don’t you think Tata Nano is the true symbol of the common man whom you claim to represent? Or do you think that just because Nano is manufactured in Gujarat, it is not worthy of you?

Before going on a bandobastthat is diverted towards managing the ruckus created by you and your party workers that leads rapists free to prowl on innocent women in Dehli- the rape capital of India? Who clears all the litter and the garbage that your dharna against this?

Last but not the least, Mr Kejriwal, I am curious to ask you this. Are you a pass-out of National School of Drama located in Delhi?

Congress trying to hide in the bunker of secularism: Modi

AHMEDABAD: Accusing Congress of "trying to hide in the bunker of secularism", Narendra Modi on Sunday said that it was fighting for its survival with even a 100-seat mark in the new Lok Sabha appearing "an uphill task for it".

Reacting sharply to Congress president Sonia Gandhi's accusation that his election campaign was a "dangerous combination of religious fanaticism, power and money", the BJP prime ministerial candidate said, "faced with certain defeat, fighting for its survival it is once again trying to hide in the bunker of secularism.

"Its last hope is to somehow cross the 100-seat mark which now appears an uphill task for it," Modi told PTI.

Responding to Sonia's dig that he was promising to make India a paradise, he said, "I have never claimed that I will make India a paradise and that I have solutions to all problems. I am sure even people do not expect this from me."

People of India were not looking forward to miracles but "they certainly deserve a stable, decisive and sensitive government," he said.

Asked about recent attacks on him by Priyanka Gandhi who had accused him of humiliating her family and husband Robert Vadra, the BJP leader said that as a daughter and sister she has a right to campaign for her mother and her brother.

"It is natural that a daughter would like to defend her mother. A sister would like to defend her brother. I do not have any problems with that," Modi said.

Anwsering a question on how allegations against Vadra would be dealt with in the event of his coming to power, the BJP leader said that he did not believe in politics of vendetta and witch-hunting of which he had been a "victim" for the last ten years.

At the same time, nobody was above law and if somebody had done something wrong, the law must take its own course. "But that has to happen in an institutional manner as per the due process without interference from any quarter. Such actions should never be guided by political considerations."

Modi was asked if he would reach out to three powerful regional leaders Mamata Banerjee, Jayalalithaa and Mayawati who had been critical of him during the campaign but whose support he may need after the poll results were out.

He replied," As of now I firmly believe that the BJP with its pre-poll NDA partners is going to get the required numbers to form a government at the Centre. You must keep in mind that we already have a big and powerful alliance of more than 25 partners.

"We are sure that we will get the numbers to run the government. However, we will need everyone's support and cooperation to run the country."

Modi sharply attacked recent moves by the Congress for an OBC quota for backward Muslims and said that this was nothing but a "last ditch effort" to indulge in "vote bank politics and politics of appeasement on the eve of elections".

The Congress was making such a promise knowing fully well that they cannot implement it, he said, adding, "I must also say that it exposes the true 'secular' character of the party which aims to garner votes on the basis of religion."

Asked if he subscribed to the view that the current election campaign was the most polarised one in India's democratic history, Modi said that he agreed "in a way" that it is a polarised election but "the polarisation is of a different kind this time".

He said, "polarisation is inherent in a democracy. It is natural for people holding different viewpoints to think and vote differently. Per se it is not an undesirable thing. It is the kind of polarisation happening that matters".

The Gujarat chief minister was of the view that the polarisation in this election was between those who believed in the inclusive politics of development and good governance and against who believe in divisive politics of vote banks, caste and religion.

Asked if there was a Modi wave or an anti-Congress wave, or both, Modi replied, "I think it is both. There is a very strong anti-Congress wave together with an equally strong wave for the BJP and its NDA partners".

Describing the elections as "extraordinary and unprecedented", he elaborated that probably it was a first time that a strong anti-incumbency feeling was accompanied by an equally strong desire for change.

Modi declined to anwser a question on the post-Godhra Gujarat riots of 2002 but said in an anwser to another question that his opponents had not been able to find any serious allegations of corruption, nepotism or incompetence against him.

Asked if he would like to assure Muslims that they should feel safe and secure and that they will not be discriminated against by a government led by him, the BJP leader said that there was no reason for anybody to feel unsafe and insecure, be it Hindus or Muslims.

"If anybody should feel insecure, it is the parties who treat Muslims as vote banks and do nothing for their development. Their politics has reached its expiry date. Such parties better improve or they face extinction." he said.

Modi emphasised that there was no reason for anyone to feel unsafe and insecure under a BJP government.

"We are committed to the safety, security and development of 125 crore Indians which includes all Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians etc. Our motto is 'sabka saath sabka vikas'( everybody's support, everybody's development)," he added.

Asked about his recent reference to 'Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb'(composite culture) at the time of filing his nominations from Varanasi, Modi said that this was his message of India First — Let us unite together rising above caste and religion and let us all work together for development and prosperity.

Modi made the following other points: Corruption: I have a clear time-bound action plan in mind and we will ensure that when the country goes to polls for the 17th Lok Sabha( scheduled for 2019), there will be no place for corrupt and criminal elements.

The action plan would first target sitting MPs who have cases agaisnt them regardless of party and politial affiliations. Supreme Court would be requested to establish fast track courts across the country to expeditiously try offences against them so that all cases are decided within one year.

This would ensure that who are found not guilty were absolved of all allegations and malicious propaganda. Those who are found guilty would be punished and vacancies arising out of their disqualification will be filled by honest and clean people.

In the next stage, all those who had contested elections and members of Panchayati Raj institutions as well as urban local bodies would be targeted. The message that we want to send is that if you become a MP or MLA, the cases against you will be fast tracked.

The leader he admires the most in post-Independence India: Sardar Patel was certainly a stalwart who did a great job as the country's first Home Minister in uniting the entire country and merging the 500-odd Princely states in India. He is one leader whom I admire for his ability to place national interests above all.

His plans between May 12 when the 9-phase polling comes to end and May 16 when counting of votes begin: I don't think I will able to get any day off. I will decide what to do during 2-3 days only on the 12th.

However, I would like to devote some time to thank the lakhs of volunteers and karyakartas who have worked very hard during the last few months.

Asked which one was the "real Modi" — a strong willed and decisive leader or a divisive and authoritarian one, the Gujarat chief minister said that for those who had seen him closely and worked with him believed that he was strong willed and decisive.

However, some people for reasons best known to them had decided to judge him not on what he was and not on his work but "on the basis of perception created about me by certain vested interests and my political opponents". At times, he wondered why was there "this constant attempt to portray me in a particular manner".

Modi asserted that his opponents had not been able to find any serious allegations of corruption, nepotism or incompetence against him.

"They have found no substantive issues to target me. Thus, it seems they resort to vague, non-specific and subjective things like saying that I am authoritarian, jingostic, divisive etc," he said.

Narendra Modi hints at hot pursuit against Dawood Ibrahim

Ahmedabad: Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi lashed out at Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde for publicly discussing the issue of bringing back underworld don Dawood Ibrahim to India.
In an interview to a Gujarati TV news channel, Modi said he feels ashamed and termed Shinde's comments on Dawood as immature. Giving the example of killing of Osama bin Laden by the US forces, the BJP strongman said, "Did the US held a press conference before carrying out the Abbottabad raid."

Expressing his views on how to deal with the Maoists problem, the Gujarat Chief Minister said, "I have publicly told the people following the particular ideology that they have to make up their mind and choose between gun and plough, ballot and bullet, vote and death."

"We need to have zero tolerance towards terrorism, narco terrorism, fake currency issue," Modi asserted.

However, the BJP strongman said, "In some cases where situation can be handled with talks it should be done, but at the same time we need to deal strictly with those who have made up their mind to indulge in bloodshed."

When asked about Defence Minister AK Antony's statement in Parliament on Pakistan that India wouldn't tolerate ceasefire violations, the BJP's PM candidate said that a more grievous issue is of the killing of two Kerala fishermen by Italian marines.
Heavily criticising the Manmohan Singh-led UPA government on the Kerala fishermen killing case, Modi said, "The marines were brought back to India after Supreme Court's order." He further asked the central government of disclosing the location where the Italian marines have been kept.
Modi accused the incumbent government of not being serious towards the security of the people.

Raising the issue of beheading of Indian soldiers on the border, Modi chided Antony for saying that some people came in Pakistani Army uniform and killed the Indian soldiers. He said Anotny's statement was not accepted by the Indian Army which later said Pakistanis killed our soldiers.
The BJP strongman also took the opportunity to mock at former external affairs minister SM Krishna for reading out the speech of the Portuguese foreign minister at a UN meeting in 2011.
Spelling out the agenda of the BJP, the Gujarat CM said that his party believes in unity and development, empowering the downtrodden, providing employment opportunities to the youth, security to the fairer community, irrigation facilities for the farmers.

In his message to the GenX, he said that the youngsters between 18-28 years of age are not only voters but also canvassers. Saying that the young generation is capable of changing the future of the country he urged them to vote for a strong government which can fulfil their dreams.

AAP & Congress are same

So this was the scene at Amethi today. Heartening to see the excitement on the faces of the AAP workers.

But why does the guy in the centre look a bit like some lost cousin of Mr Vishwas ? Can we have some match fixing expert from BCCI investigate this please ?
Guess the photo is enough evidence to get them started!
Nevertheless, our heartiest wishes to the A and B teams of Congress on this reunion.

98 reasons to give BJP full 272+ seats with Modi as PM

MUST SPREAD THIS article to nationalists residing throughout India but most so in states with Third-Front parties – Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Kerala, North-East sister states, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.

1.     BJP is backed by supremely nationalist RSS, ensuring once-in-a-lifetime statesmen like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani, Narendra Modi, Arun Jaitley, Arun Shourie, Shivraj Singh, Raman Singh, Sushil Kumar Modi and thousands others (who have the nationalist ideology to lead the nation towards material and spiritual progress) are there to serve the nation.
2.     Coalition politics is killing India: It is a Lok Sabha election, state parties like SP (Samajwadi Party), BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party), NCP (Nationalist Congress Party), BJD (Biju Janta Dal), NC (National Conference), TMC (Trinamol Congress), DMK, AIADMK, CPI/ CPIM, TRS (Telengana Rashtriya Samiti), YSR Congress, PDP get anti-Congress/ anti-BJP votes and later sell themselves to the Congress for massive personal benefits. This results in chaos and a fractured Parliament. Nation needs proven, nationalist Government with 272+ seats and a well laid vision.
3.     Coalition politics : Look at how DMK forced anti-Sri Lanka vote in the UNHRC resolution.
4.     Coalition politics : Each dynast in the coalition is a Kingmaker, thereby dynasties further their hold on India and the Ginni coefficient of India (which measures gap between rich and poor) gets horribly skewed.
5.     Coalition politics : Though coalition governments do make efforts to provide for programmatic unity through minimum programs, they are very poor substitutes and are ill-conceived compromises. The ruling party’s Manifesto then loses its value.
6.     Coalition politics : Each of the Third Front parties automatically become “Secular” to ally with Congress.
7.     Coalition politics : The neutrality of civil servants suffers under coalition Government – there are contradictory pulls and pressures on them from regional parties.
8.     Coalition politics : A party which is in power in a state but in opposition at Centre plays mostly politics and doesn’t deliver any governance e.g SP, TMC, JDU, AIADMK.
9.     Coalition politics : Growth of fissiparous tendencies and factionalism based on region, caste, community etc are getting stronger. Congress and regional parties have made reservations based on non-economic criterion to divide society e.g giving minority status to Jains
10.Coalition politics : CBI filed bulletproof cases of corruption on Mulayam, Mayawati, Lalu etc but Congress used them as levers and let off these guilty. Supreme Court, in fact, called CBI a “Caged parrot” of the Congress Government.

12.Coalition politics : Politics of consensus is sought to be achieved, which unfortunately often becomes politics of one- upmanship and bargaining.

16.Coalition politics : Congress and its coalition Government have the worst record in passing Bills in last 10 years. Click Parliamentary performance of Congress in last 10 years is worst ever in history of independent India. Congress's dubious record as a government is that it has passed the least number of bills in its full 5 year term - 165 as opposed to an average of 317 bills that other governments finishing their 5 year terms have managed to pass according to data compiled by PRS Legislative.
17.Coalition politics : Coalitions lack uniform ideology and unable to take a long-term view and hence vote-bank politics rules e.g Congress killed POTA brought by BJP and 26/11 Mumbai attacks happened.
18.Coalition politics : Coalitions greatly restrict the ability of governments to deal with major reforms and means that politicians seldom stay in any particular ministerial post for long enough to get to grips with its demands. 25.Coalition politics : The regional dynasty based parties don’t have internal democracy. Starting with Congress, having Brand Gandhi dynasty, others like SP, NCP, BJD, NC, DMK, YSR Congress, PDP etc are all single family parties who propagate their rule on parts of India. As Indians, we have to ensure no one votes for a Dynasty led party.
26.Coalition politics : Bills which can bring about tremendous social change like 33% Women reservations, Anti-rape bill etc are held up by coalition allies like SP.
